The Exuviance Advanced Series Performance Peel AP25 At-Home Chemical Peel contains a 25% blend of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and polyhydroxy acids (PHAs), including glycolic acid, mandelic acid and gluconolactone.

Preparation: Before the first peeling, it is recommended to use an activator pad (step 1) and a neutralization pad (step 2) on a small, inconspicuous area of the face according to the instructions below. If there is no irritation or discomfort after 24 hours, you can proceed to exfoliate the entire face.

Application:

Cleanse the face with an Exuviance cleanser.

Apply a Step 1 Activator Pad to the entire face, avoiding the eye area, lips and any sensitive areas. Then discard the pad.

Carefully observe the skin's reaction to the peeling by paying attention to any redness or discomfort such as stinging, burning, itching, tightness, tingling, and peeling.

Apply a Step 2 Neutralizer Pad to the face after 10 minutes or sooner if you experience bothersome redness or discomfort. Apply it all over the face (avoiding the eyes and lips) and then rinse the face thoroughly with water.

Apply a moisturizer like Exuviance Overnight Transformation Complex.

Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 can be used up to twice a week, depending on skin tolerance. Reduce the frequency of use if the skin feels uncomfortable, irritated or if annoying peeling occurs. Note: There should be no visible peeling.

Can be used on face, chest and back of hands up to twice weekly (6 week supply).

Caution! Only for external use. Use only as directed. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes. Do not apply to injured, sunburned or inflamed skin. In case of contact, rinse well with water. Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention. Consult a doctor before using the product with prescription medicines or if you are taking a prescription retinoid. Topical procedures such as microdermabrasion, electrolysis, waxing, and hair removal within a week before a peel can increase the skin's sensitivity to the peel. It is recommended to use sunscreen or avoid the sun daily during and for one week after using this AHA product to minimize the risk of sun sensitivity. Sunburn Warning: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and especially the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week afterward.
